I work in oil, on canvas or board and use a variety of tools, a compass, a comb and sandpaper to achieve a landscape full of texture. I am inspired by the rolling South Downs of my childhood, views across the fields of Dorset and Surrey Heathland, as well as the sheer pleasure of applying paint to canvas.
